Notice to Laboratory Clients and Stakeholders
Please be informed of the following updates to laboratory testing services:
Tests Now Started
The laboratory has started offering the following tests:
- Matter Insoluble in Water (Matter insoluble in salt by loss on drying)
- Matters Insoluble in Acid (Matter insoluble in salt by loss on drying – moisture)
Tests Temporarily Halted
The following tests have been temporarily halted until further notice:
- Determination of Sucrose by Brix Method
- Refractive Index of Oils and Fats
Updated Testing Time
- Oil and Grease in Water Time taken for testing: 3 days for up to 3 samples
Clients are requested to take note of these updates when submitting samples and planning testing timelines. Any further updates will be shared through the MFDA website.
